This coffee comes from the Chirinos Cooperative in northern Peru, our second year purchasing their coffee. The group produces excellent coffee and promotes sustainabilty on many levels - check it out here.
One of this year's crop Peru comes from the producer Wilmer Cuello who is experimenting with processing techniques. A neighboring farm to Ely, this coffee is a very similar crop, but natural processed. The sweet milk chocolate of the Ely turns to fudge outlined with a strawberry jam aroma. There is very little of this outstanding coffee so get it while it's available!
